Usage Notes (Hindi)

अंग्रेज़ी में लिंग नहीं दर्शाता, लेकिन हिंदी में पुत्र से 'पोता/पोती', पुत्री से 'नाती/नातिन' कहते हैं। बहुवचन: 'grandchildren'। परिवार में पीढ़ियाँ बताने में आम शब्द।
