Definition

갤러리는 예술 작품이나 다양한 물건을 사람들에게 전시하는 공간입니다. 주로 미술관을 의미하지만, 극장의 상층 좌석이나 건물의 긴 복도를 뜻할 수도 있습니다.

Usage Notes (Korean)

대부분 예술 작품 전시 공간(‘아트갤러리’)을 뜻하지만, 극장 상단 좌석 등 다양한 의미로도 쓰임. 'gallery'가 스마트폰 사진 폴더를 의미할 때와는 다름.
