Definition

음식을 뜨거운 기름에 조리하는 것. 또한 아주 어린 물고기나 중요하지 않은 사람을 뜻하기도 한다.

Usage Notes (Korean)

주로 요리할 때 사용 ('계란을 튀기다' 등). 'My brain is fried'는 머리가 완전히 지쳤다는 뜻. 'Small fry'는 하찮은 사람을 가리킨다.

Examples

I fried two eggs for breakfast.

나는 아침 식사로 달걀 두 개를 **튀겼다**.
