大学の教師グループや学部、または生まれ持った能力を指します。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「faculty」は学部全体や教師陣を指す場合や、特別な能力の場合があります。「department」より幅広い意味で使われます。『faculty of speech』のように生得的な力を表すこともあります。
