Definition

誰かがよく理解できるように、理由や詳細、情報を伝えること。「explain（説明する）」の進行形で、今行われている動作や一般的な行為を表します。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

何を説明するかを明記することが多いです。『explain something to someone』『explain that...』の形で使います。'explain me'や'explain about'は使わず、'explain it to me'などを使いましょう。
