इकिडना ऑस्ट्रेलिया और न्यू गिनी में पाया जाने वाला एक छोटा, कांटेदार स्तनधारी है, जो अंडे देता है और कीड़े खाने के लिए लंबी जीभ का उपयोग करता है।

"इकिडना" शब्द वैज्ञानिक या जीव विज्ञान के संदर्भ में सबसे अधिक इस्तेमाल होता है। इसे 'हेजहॉग' (कांटेदार चूहा) से न मिलाएं, ये अलग जानवर हैं। बहुवचन "इकिडनस" होगा।
