物や場所から水分を取り除いて乾かすこと。自然にも人工的にも行われます。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「乾燥」は名詞や現在分詞的に使われます。自然乾燥や乾燥機のどちらにも使えます。'dry'（乾く・乾かす）と区別して使います。
