Definition
Moverse lentamente sin mucho control, a menudo por el agua, el viento o un cambio gradual de dirección. También puede significar alejarse poco a poco de un tema, un plan o una situación.
Usage Notes (Spanish)
Es común en contextos físicos como 'drift out to sea' o 'snow drift', pero también se usa mucho para cambios abstractos: 'drift apart', 'drift into sleep', 'the conversation drifted'. Suele sugerir algo lento, no planeado y suave, no repentino.
