‘dreamed’와 ‘dreamt’ 둘 다 맞지만, 미국 영어에서는 ‘dreamed’가 더 흔함. ‘dreamed about’, ‘dreamed of’, ‘always dreamed of becoming...’에 자주 씀. 잘 때의 꿈과 미래 희망 모두 가능함.
