とても疲れ切ってエネルギーが残っていない状態。また、液体や資源がすべて取り除かれた物にも使う。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

日常会話で精神的・感情的な疲労を表す際によく使われる（“I feel drained”）。液体の場合も（“the pool is drained”）。“tired”より強く、“exhausted”ほどではない。
