すばやく動いて何かを避けたり、質問や状況から逃げたりすることを表す「dodge」の過去形。

素早い動きで何かをよける場合に使われますが、難しい質問や責任から逃げる場合にもよく使います。「dodged the question」は答えをはぐらかしたという意味です。
