何かについて他の人やグループと意見や計画などを交換しながら話し合うこと。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

日常会話とフォーマルな場の両方で使われます。「discuss a problem」「discuss plans」「discuss something with someone」などの形で使います。「discuss about」とは言いません。

Examples

We need to discuss the homework after class.

授業が終わったら宿題について**話し合い**が必要です。

They discussed the new plan in the meeting.

彼らは会議で新しい計画を**話し合いました**。

Can we discuss this tomorrow?

これについて明日**話し合え**ますか？
