Definition

একটি জোরে, দীর্ঘস্থায়ী এবং বিরক্তিকর ধরনের আওয়াজ বা কোলাহল, যা সাধারণত একাধিক উৎস থেকে আসে।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

‘শব্দ’ বা ‘কোলাহল’ সাধারণত লিখিত বা বর্ণনামূলক ভাষায় বেশি ব্যবহৃত হয়। ‘the din of traffic’ বা ‘a din in the classroom’ এর মতো জায়গায় ব্যবহার হয়। দৈনন্দিন কথোপকথনে সাধারণত ‘noise’ ব্যবহৃত হয়।
