هي صيغة الماضي من 'describe'. وتعني أن شخصًا قال أو كتب كيف كان شيء ما، أو شرحه بالكلمات.

Usage Notes (Arabic)

يأتي عادةً متبوعًا بالشيء الذي تم شرحه، مثل: 'described the scene' و 'described him as kind'. من التراكيب الشائعة 'describe something' و 'describe someone/something as ...'. وفي المبني للمجهول، 'was described as' شائعة جدًا.
