Definition

무언가를 다른 사람이나 장소에 배달하거나 전달하는 것. 연설이나 공연을 한다는 뜻으로도 쓰인다.

Usage Notes (Korean)

‘Delivering’은 주로 물건, 음식, 편지 등을 옮겨줄 때 사용된다. ‘deliver a speech’(연설하다)는 발표할 때 쓴다. 선물 줄 때는 ‘give’를 사용하고, 추상적 의미에서는 ‘deliver results’처럼 일부 경우에만 사용한다.
