Definition

「度」は温度や角度の単位、程度・レベル、または大学でコースを修了した際にもらう学位を表します。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「a degree in biology」は「生物学の学位」。「30 degrees」は温度・角度の単位。「to some degree」は「ある程度」。学校の「degree」は学位そのものを指します。
