কাউকে ইচ্ছাকৃতভাবে মিথ্যা কিছু বিশ্বাস করানো যাতে আপনি লাভবান হন বা দোষ এড়াতে পারেন।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

'Deceive' সাধারণত গুরুতর এবং ইচ্ছাকৃত মিথ্যাচারের ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহৃত হয়। এর সঙ্গে 'deceive someone into doing something'ও ঘন ঘন চলে। 'Cheat' বা 'mislead' শব্দের সাথে গুলিয়ে ফেলবেন না।
