무언가가 천천히 망가지거나 썩어가는 현상을 말하며, 음식의 부패나 건물, 사회, 건강의 쇠퇴를 포함한다.

Usage Notes (Korean)

음식, 치아(충치), 식물 등의 부패나 사회/도덕적 쇠퇴 등 천천히 진행되는 변화에 사용한다. 갑작스러운 파괴에는 쓰지 않는다.
