Que ya no está vivo; que ha dejado todas las funciones biológicas. También puede significar que algo no funciona o no tiene energía.
Usage Notes (Spanish)
Se usa comúnmente en contextos médicos o técnicos para seres vivos, también informal para dispositivos que dejaron de funcionar ('Mi teléfono está muerto'). Usado metafóricamente ('silencio muerto', 'callejón sin salida'). No confundir con 'murió' (pasado de morir).
