Definition

“Current” का सबसे आम अर्थ है अभी का या इस समय मौजूद। इसका मतलब पानी, हवा या बिजली का किसी दिशा में बहना भी हो सकता है।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

विशेषण के रूप में “current” औपचारिक और रोज़मर्रा की अंग्रेज़ी दोनों में बहुत आम है: “current situation”, “current price”, “current job”. संज्ञा के रूप में यह पानी और बिजली के लिए आता है: “ocean current”, “electric current”. इसे “actual” से न मिलाएँ; “actual” का अर्थ real होता है, present नहीं।
