القسوة هي سلوك يكون قاسياً جداً أو يسبب الألم للآخرين عن قصد.

عادةً ما يُستخدم 'cruelty' في مواقف رسمية مثل 'قَسْوَة على الحيوان' أو التنمر. من الشائع قول 'act of cruelty', 'cruelty to animals/children'. لا يُستخدم للمواقف البسيطة أو المزاح.
