잘못된 부분을 바르게 고치거나 수정하는 것. 또는 누군가의 일을 더 낫게 하기 위한 피드백이나 표시를 의미함.

학교, 직장 모두에서 자주 쓰이며, '수정하다', '수정 제출', '선생님의 수정' 등과 같이 씀. '교정시설(교도소)'과는 별개의 의미임.
