Definition
কাউকে বা কিছুকে সম্মানের অযোগ্য বলে মনে করা, গুরুতর অবজ্ঞা আর অপছন্দের অনুভূতি।
Usage Notes (Bengali)
অনেক সময় 'for'–এর পরে ব্যবহৃত হয় ('contempt for rules'); সাধারণত hate-এর চেয়ে কম তীব্র। আদালতের ক্ষেত্রে 'contempt of court' উল্লেখযোগ্য।
