物事や出来事が途切れずに次々と続いて起こること。主に数字や日、出来事の連なりを表します。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

やや硬い表現で、書き言葉で多用されます。「consecutive days」「consecutive numbers」のように、連続しているものに使います。同時進行には使いません。「simultaneous」を使ってください。
