Definition
Cemaat, genellikle dini ayinler veya etkinlikler için bir araya gelen insan topluluğudur. Daha genel topluluklar için de kullanılabilir ama en çok dini gruplar için kullanılır.
Usage Notes (Turkish)
En çok dini (Hristiyan) topluluklar için kullanılır: 'the congregation stood', 'cemaat'e hitap etmek gibi. Seküler toplantılar için nadiren kullanılır. 'congress' veya 'assembly' ile karıştırmayın.
