একটি congregation হল একটি দল যারা সাধারণত ধর্মীয় উপাসনা বা অনুষ্ঠানের জন্য একত্রিত হয়। এটি আরও সাধারণ কোনো সমাবেশকেও বোঝাতে পারে, তবে সবচেয়ে বেশি ব্যবহৃত হয় ধর্মীয় ক্ষেত্রেই।
Usage Notes (Bengali)
বেশিরভাগ ক্ষেত্রে ধর্মীয় (বিশেষত খ্রিষ্টান) প্রেক্ষাপটে ব্যবহৃত হয়: 'the congregation stood'। সাধারণ সভার জন্য বিরল। 'congress' বা 'assembly'-এর সাথে গুলিয়ে ফেলবেন না।
