コンポーネントとは、機械やシステム、混合物などを構成する一つの部分や要素のことです。

主に工学や技術、科学分野で使われます（「電子コンポーネント」「重要なコンポーネント」など）。人にはあまり使いません。「成分（ingredient）」や「部品（part）」とは使い分けます。
