কফিন হলো মৃতদেহ দাফন বা দাহ করার জন্য ব্যবহৃত লম্বা বাক্স।
Usage Notes (Bengali)
'কফিন' সাধারণত গুরুগম্ভীর বা ঐতিহাসিক প্রসঙ্গে ব্যবহৃত হয়। আমেরিকান ইংরেজিতে 'casket' শব্দটি বেশি প্রচলিত। 'wooden coffins', 'open coffins' ইত্যাদি জুটিতে পাওয়া যায়। জীবিতদের জন্য এই শব্দটি ব্যবহার হয় না।
