Definition

布は、綿や羊毛、絹などの繊維を織ったり編んだりして作られる素材です。掃除やカバーなど特定の用途で使う布きれも指します。

素材としての『布』は数えませんが、掃除用の『ふきん』など特定の用途の時は数えられます（例：a cloth）。『clothes』（服）とは意味が違うので注意しましょう。
