"Cliffs"는 주로 복수로 자연 경관을 말할 때 쓰이며, "steep", "high", "rocky"와 자주 쓰임. 작은 절벽은 해당하지 않음. "mountains"나 "hills"와 혼동하지 않도록 주의.
