振付師は、ダンスやパフォーマンスのために動きやステップ、構成を考えて振付を作る人です。

主にダンスや舞台芸術（ミュージカル、舞台、時には映画）で使われます。「choreographer」は男女問わず使えます。作曲には使いません。
