Definition

チャイムや風鈴は、複数の鐘や金属パイプがぶつかることで美しい音を出し、飾りや楽器として使われます。音そのものや道具を指すこともあります。

「chimes」は複数形が一般的で、複数の鐘やパイプを示します。「wind chimes」「church chimes」などと使われます。「bells」（大きな鐘）とは区別してください。
