Definition

チャートは、情報を棒や線、円などの形でわかりやすく表示する図のことです。場合によっては整理された表や地図を指すこともあります。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「チャート」は主に「棒グラフ」「円グラフ」「折れ線グラフ」などデータを示す図で使われます。日常会話では「グラフ」と同じように使われることが多いですが、正確には違うこともあります。「チャート」は音楽ランキングや航海用地図の意味もあります。
