危険や間違いを避けるために注意深くすること。また、危険を知らせる警告の意味もある。

フォーマル・インフォーマル両方で使われる。'with caution'や'exercise caution'は「注意して」の意味。実際の注意深さや警告文の両方に使われるが、「予防策（precaution）」とは異なる。

A little caution can save you a lot of trouble later.

少しの**注意**で後々のトラブルを防げる。
