Definition

昔、王様や貴族が住み、防御のために建てられた大きなお城のこと。物語やおとぎ話にもよく登場する。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に歴史上またはおとぎ話のお城に使う。『build castles in the air』は「実現できない夢を描く」という意味で使われる。現代の豪邸には使わない。
