誰かが中止することを決めたり、中止だと発表したために何かが行われなくなった状態。イベントや予定、予約、飛行機、サービスなどについて使う。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

多くは『〜がキャンセルされた』のように受け身で使う。『flight canceled』『order canceled』『reservation canceled』などの形が一般的。アメリカ英語で ‘canceled’、イギリス英語では ‘cancelled’ も使う。
