豆は、食用に使われる植物の種やサヤのことです。一般的には黒豆、金時豆、インゲン豆などを指します。

食材として使う場合複数形で使われます。イギリス英語では特にbaked beansを指すことが多いです。'green beans'はインゲン豆のサヤを意味します。
