Definition

물건을 담거나 나르는 데 쓰는 짜여진 용기. 농구에서는 골대나 성공시 득점을 의미하기도 함.

Usage Notes (Korean)

일상에서는 물건 담는 ‘바구니’, 농구에서는 ‘골대’ 혹은 득점(‘10점 넣었다’) 으로 사용. ‘basket case’처럼 사람을 뜻하지 않음.
