অক্ষ বলতে কোনো কিছু ঘোরার কাল্পনিক বা বাস্তব সোজা রেখা, অথবা কোনো কিছুর কেন্দ্রীয় বিভাজক বা সমন্বয়ক রেখাকে বোঝায়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

'অক্ষ' শব্দটি গণিত, বিজ্ঞান ও ভূগোলসহ বিভিন্ন ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহৃত হয়, যেমন 'ভূমির অক্ষ', 'এক্স-অক্ষ', 'পর্যাবর্তনের অক্ষ'। 'অক্ষ' আবার 'axle' (যন্ত্রাংশের দণ্ড) থেকে আলাদা।
