“ashes” in Bengali
Definition
কোনো কিছু পুড়ে যাওয়ার পর অবশিষ্ট নরম ধূসর বা কালো গুঁড়া। দেহ পোড়ানোর পর যে অবশিষ্টাংশ থাকে তাকেও বোঝায়।
Usage Notes (Bengali)
এটি সাধারণত বহুবচন আকারে 'ছাই' ব্যবহার হয়, যেমন 'cigarette ashes', 'scatter the ashes' ইত্যাদি। 'ash' (গাছের নাম) এর সঙ্গে গুলিয়ে ফেলবেন না।
