아치는 다리, 건물, 출입구 등에서 위를 받치는 곡선형 구조입니다. 또한 발의 윗부분처럼 곡선을 이룬 부분을 의미할 수도 있습니다.

건축과 해부학에서 흔히 사용됩니다. 'arch of the bridge'는 다리의 아치, 'foot arch'는 발의 아치를 의미합니다. 'ark' 혹은 'arch-' 접두사와 혼동하지 마세요.
