좌석, 선반 등 사이로 사람들이 오갈 수 있게 마련된 공간이나 길. 주로 슈퍼마켓, 비행기, 교회, 극장에서 볼 수 있습니다.

Usage Notes (Korean)

주로 ‘cereal aisle’, ‘aisle seat’ 등 특정 장소 앞에 붙여 씁니다. 결혼식에서 ‘walk down the aisle’는 신부가 결혼식장 통로를 걷는 의미입니다. 'isle'(섬)과 혼동하지 마세요.
