Se usa generalmente en contextos formales o serios, como situaciones legales. Es común la expresión 'accuses someone of (something)'. Una acusación falsa es 'unfounded accusation'. No confundir con 'blames' (culpar), que es menos formal y no se refiere necesariamente a delitos.
