কিছু গ্রহণ করতে অথবা কিছু সত্য বা সঠিক বলে স্বীকার করতে সম্মত হওয়া।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

অধিকাংশ সময় আনুষ্ঠানিক বা ভদ্র পরিস্থিতিতে ব্যবহৃত হয়। সাধারণ বাক্যাংশ: 'accepts responsibility', 'accepts an offer', 'accepts the truth'। 'accept' আর 'except' (ব্যতিরেকে) আলাদা।
