Definition
用紙やリストの空欄に名前や情報を書き入れること。また、公認されていない候補者に投票する（書き込み投票）や要望・意見を文書で提出する場合にも使われる。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
'Write in' は公式な用紙や選挙の投票用紙でよく使われます（例：'write in a candidate'）。'Please write in your name' のような依頼表現が一般的。また、意見を文書で提出するときにも使います。'Write down'（ただ書き留める）とは違う意味です。
