職場で誰かの下で働くことは、その人の指示や管理のもとで業務を行うことを意味します。

ビジネスや職場でよく使う表現。誰の下で働くかを "部長の下で" などのように明示。物理的な場所でなく上下関係を表す。「work for」とは異なるニュアンス。
