'와이프아웃'은 스포츠에서 크게 넘어지거나, 어떤 일이 완전히 실패했을 때 쓰입니다.

비격식적 표현; 보드 스포츠에서 심하게 넘어졌을 때, 또는 시험·사업 등에서 완전히 망했을 때도 쓴다. 유머러스하게 표현할 때도 많다.
