「wipeout」は、サーフィンやスポーツでの激しい転倒や、何かが完全に失敗することを指します。

カジュアルな表現。サーフィンやスケートなどのスポーツでの激しい転倒によく使うが、試験や仕事の大失敗も表現できる。冗談っぽく使うこともある。
