Tensar repentinamente la cara o el cuerpo, a menudo por dolor, vergüenza o algo desagradable.
Usage Notes (Spanish)
Se usa principalmente para reacciones breves ante dolor, vergüenza o incomodidad. Suele ir con 'at' (winced at the sight) o 'when' (winced when he heard). No se usa para dolor extremo, sino para reacciones leves y automáticas.
