Definition
Dejar de hacer algo por miedo o nervios, especialmente después de haberlo planeado. Suele usarse cuando alguien cambia de opinión en el último minuto por falta de valor.

Expresión informal, puede sonar burlona. Común con 'de' + actividad ('se acobardó de saltar'). Muy utilizada entre amigos o jóvenes; evita en situaciones formales.
